#Rstatsgoes10k: Join eoda in the celebration of R and take the chance to win with your prediction!

The easiest way to stay up-to-date regarding the current number of R packages is to follow eoda’s automated Twitter bot @Rstatsgoes10k. This bot regularly informs its followers of the status quo so that participants of the contest will immediately know when R passes the 10.000 packages mark.

eoda is hosting a contest in which participants can win an Amazon gift card worth 100€ by estimating the publication date of the 10,000th R package on CRAN.

Until January 8, 2017 at 23:59 CET participants can submit their prediction via Twitter (send a tweet with your proposed date, #Rstatsgoes10k and @eodaGmbH) or Facebook (comment on our Facebook page with your proposed date and #Rstatsgoes10k). For more information visit the published article on r-bloggers.

Contestants need to be 18 years or older to be eligible to participate. Employees of eoda and their immediate families are not eligible to participate. All decisions regarding this contest are final.
