JAGS 5.0.0-beta is now available from SourceForge.

The beta release is for two groups of people:

  • People who have written software depending on JAGS, in particular authors of R packages that depend on one of the four interfaces between R and JAGS – rjags, runjags, R2jags, and jagsUI. Currently some of these packages do not pass the CRAN tests with the new version of JAGS. Some time to fix these problems before the official release is helpful.
  • Anyone who wants to try out the new version and find problems with it before the official release.
