Today I am happy to announce a new Facebook group: Data Science Portfolios. This group is for anyone interested in creating a portfolio of data science projects.

Creating a portfolio is one of the best things that I’ve done for my career: it’s allowed me to explore projects I care about in depth, and has connected me with potential customers and clients who value that work. I hope that this group helps other people achieve similar results! The group is free to join.

When joining the group, please introduce yourself and say what stage you’re at with your portfolio. You can join even if you don’t have a portfolio right now, and are just considering creating one. If you already have a portfolio, feel free to request feedback from other people in the group, or to mention a particular issue that you’re struggling with.

I’m looking forward to speaking with more people about their data science portfolios!
