Data science goes professional: On November 2 and 3, the [R] Kenntnis-Tage 2016 offer valuable insights into diverse application examples of the programming language R to users, developers, administrators and IT decision makers. Now the program has been released.
In the age of Internet of Things, data has long become the new currency for the industry and data science the new key qualification for a successful business. The free programming language R is particularly suitable for statistical and visual data preparation. It is one of the most popular programming languages and applicable in almost any field. R is also the center of the [R] Kenntnis-Tage in Kassel, Germany.
Knowing and Networking
The program is all about variety: Guest talks by Trumpf Laser, Lufthansa Industry Solutions and other representatives of various sectors offer insights into the broad range of application possibilities of data science. Besides talks about topics such as “Working efficiently with R” and “Multidimensional clustering with web analytics data”, diverse sessions will ensure additional knowledge: How can R be used to create attractive visualizations? Which possibilities and methods for recognizing patterns in time series does the programming language offer? And which aspects need to be considered when introducing R into the productive business environment? Those and many more questions will be answered at the [R] Kenntnis-Tage in the course of best practice examples and informative tutorials. There is definitely a focus on the exchange of experiences regarding the topics data science and R.
“The mix of interesting guest talks with topical case examples and deepening tutorials is what makes the [R] Kenntnis-Tage unique. After the successful event last year, we are glad to offer the participants in 2016 again a platform to inspire them to write their own success story with data science and R”, Oliver Bracht, Chief Data Scientist at eoda, explains.
There will also be an introductory course on the preceding day for those interested in R who have no experience with the programming language so far. On http://www.eoda.de/de/R-Kenntnis-Tage.html you will find the agenda and further information as well as the registration form for the [R] Kenntnis-Tage 2016.
