random 0.2.2

December 14, 2013

(This article was first published on Thinking inside the box , and kindly contributed to R-bloggers)

A maintenance release of my random
package for truly (hardware-based) random numbers (pulled from
random.org) is now on
since previous releases.
The package is described in a detailed
as well as in a
by Mads Haahr.

Changes were minimal and driven mostly by some CRAN Policy changes which now
prefer vignette sources files in (top-level) directory vignettes/

Courtesy of CRANberries, there
is also a diffstat report for the
most recent release.
Current and previous releases are available here
as well as on CRAN.
