The City University of New York

The City University of New York recently launched an online M.S. in Data Analytics and we are in the process of growing our faculty community. We have openings for part-time instructors in data visualization, data acquisition and management, machine learning, predictive analytics, and web analytics. The M.S. in Data Analytics is a professionally oriented online degree that focuses on 1.) quantitative methods (probability, statistics, linear algebra, calculus, and social network analysis); 2.) programming and data management; and 3.) practical business applications (marketing, business, web analytics, data mining, transportation, healthcare and more). Our project-oriented curriculum requires students to use some combination of analytic tools in each course, e.g., R, Python, MongoDB, Hadoop, Tableau, D3.js, and Maps API among others.  We value good teaching skills, solid pedagogy, and availability to support working professionals.
