OpenCPU will be presented at useR 2012 in Nashville! Have a look at the abstract and the conference program. In the presentation we will introduce 3 inter-related projects which build on R:

  • OpenCPU
  • An open source framework for web development with R.

  • Ohmage
  • An open source system for large scale participatory sensing using mobile phones.

  • Mobilize
  • A very cool large NSF funded project in which thousands of high school students in Los Angeles are armed with mobile phones to collect, share and analyze data about their lives.

We will use the Mobilize project to illustrate how OpenCPU enables you to use R as a computational back-end in large open source systems for live analysis and visualization.

See you there!
