The program of invited lectures, contributed talks and posters for this year’s annual R user conference useR! 2010 is now available, and it looks to be another excellent event. (Revolution Analytics is a sponsor of useR! 2010.) Of note this year is an increasing focus on commercial applications of R, with no less than three multi-talk sessions on applications and uses of R in business. There will also be sessions on uses of R in biostatistics, grid computing, visualization, social network analysis and much, much more. The conference will close with an invited lecture from the guru of open-source Richard Stallman on “Free Software in Ethics and in Practice”. The conference takes place July 20-23 near Washington, DC and registrations are still open.
