For those looking for more background behind the updates in Revolution R Enterprise 5.0, there are now a couple of interviews online where I talk about the new release.

At IT Business Edge (“Revolution Analytics' Goal: Make R Analysis Enterprise-Friendly“), I had a chat with Loraine Lawson about how Revolution R Enterprise fits within the analytics stack, its big-data interfaces, and how the R community provides such tremendous innovation through the R language and the CRAN packages. There's also a companion article, “How Revolution Analytics Makes Big Data Enterprise-Accessible“.

At Inside Big Data (“Podcast: Revolution Analytics Tames Big Data for the Enterprise“) you can find my interview with Radio HPC's The Rich Report. In the interview (you can listen to the mp3 here) I talk about the new features in Revolution R Enterprise 5.0, what makes R unique for data analysis, and high-performance computing for analytics.
