je-suis-charlie

Don’t worry about the title of this post… I’m not going to talk about the atrocities we’ve seen in the last days in France. I’m not going to say anything about that, because almost everything has been already said.

I’m not going to talk myself… Rather, I’m going to borrow the voices from multitudes all across Europe… The voices of many echoing loud over the Social Media.

The job of a Data Scientist is a lot like the one of a Cartoonist… Always providing new perspectives of the reality, showing aspects nobody saw before or nobody wanted to bring up.

I borrowed the voices of those who stood up, who spoke up…   #jesuischarlie in 5 different languages, yet sharing the same voice… sometimes crossing the own language barriers to adhere to a cause which is bigger than any one of us… 5 languages… 355 pencils supporting the press freedom, predicating the respect for all religions and for our muslims brothers, challenging the fear and spreading hope. Here you go:

Engage with it! Click on the flags, on the pencils… drag them… The voice you are listening in your head,  c’est l’Europe qui pleure

The stand-alone version is available here

If you want to understand the way the #jesuischarlie voices have been pulled together, read the “Making of #jesuischarlie plot”

#ichbincharlie, #iamcharlie, #iosonnocharlie, #yosoycharlie and of course #jesuischarlie.
