Tomorrow (July 1, 2013), Google Reader will retire. I can imagine the shock this will be for the 5,821 followers of this site who uses Google Reader in order to followup on news and tutorials from the global R world.

If you are have considering a more committed relationship with this site and didn’t know what to do – this post is for you!
Here are 4 quick ways for you to stay in touch with R-bloggers:

1. subscribe for daily e-mails from r-bloggers

Over 7000 R users follow the site through e-mail.  To join, simply click here, fill-in your e-mail (and a short captcha), approve the e-mail you will get – and you are IN! (you can opt-out at any moment you’d like)

2. Find a new RSS reader

The lovely lifehacker website compiled a great list of Google Reader alternatives for you can choose from.

3. Like R-bloggers on facebook

R-bloggers facebook page has over 8,000 readers who enjoy sharing good R stories, you are welcome to join us there.

4. Just keep visitng the site
